The ICT Professional

I approached my first steps in Information Technology when I was a teenager, in early ’80s, programming Commodore VIC20 and Commodore 64 with Basic and Simon’s library… Very young, self-taught, but very useful to be near from the beginning to the era of Personal Computer. Working few years later with Olivetti M20 and its P/COS and IBM XT and AT with the first version of MS-DOS, it was not difficult to start to develop software using Fortran on Digital VAX & MicroVAX and Assembler for the Texas Instrument processor DSP TMS320C10. Very far from visual environment, and at the same time very important to understand electronics, hardware and software interactions. Significant start to understand my passion, and well introducing my Curriculum Vitae that you could read here!

“And the winner is….Misano World Circuit!!!”… Magic words to be heared, magic moments to be lived. May be the biggest satisfaction of my professional experience, a small but very innovative project, unique at that time (2008) in the world of sport sites. In the photo I’m together with Umberto Trevi, at that time President of Misano World Circuit, while we were withdrawing the award. Supporting the business in the way that ICT became revenue source, rather than pure costs. The project has been the winner at the Cisco Networkers in Barcellona as “Best Mobility and Wireless Project of the Year”, preferred to other millionary projects candidated by major bank groups or national railway companies or international carriers. Misano World Circuit became (and may be it’s still  now) one of the most technological circuit in the world! Click here to read the Winners’ Review directly from Cisco official site
